Snowed in Comedy Tour

Some of Canada’s top comedic talents brave the cold to bring audiences the ‘Snowed in Comedy Tour’ to 65 cities across Canada - including Medicine Hat on February 19! This is not your average comedy night, some of Canada’s best comedians will be on stage at The Monarch Theatre. Get ready to laugh with Dan Quinn and Erica Sigurdson from CBC Radio’s witty show The Debaters and Alberta-local Paul Myrehaug who won the Great Canadian Laugh off. Pete Zedlacher is the fourth comedian on the tour - which is close to the five times he’s been nominated for the Comedian of the Year. Medicine Hat Tigers Hockey Game

If you want to experience all that Canada has to offer, take one night to catch a Medicine Hat Tigers home game at the Canalta Centre! The Western Hockey League team is currently top 10 in the overall rankings and has several home games lined up in the next couple of weeks. Dress warmly, bring the kids, and get ready to cheer on some good old hockey fun! You can catch a home game on Feb. 23, Mar. 2, 6, 9, 13, and 16. Be sure to check the schedule to see who they will be playing! 

Changing Places Photography Exhibit

The Medicine Hat Photography Club and the Southern Exposure Photography Club bring the Changing Places exhibit to Medicine Hat from Feb. 2 to March 23. The exhibit plays to themes of identity and place, belonging and loss. The photographs, close to home and in locations around the world, will strike a cord in your heart. The exhibition is also part of the Exposure Photography Festival, Alberta’s one and only photography festival that is celebrating its 15th year. The event is free to attend and is held at the Esplanade Arts and Heritage Centre, but be sure to check gallery hours in advance
