It’s not too cold, but it’s not too hot either - what’s there to do in Medicine Hat this March? Lots! Check out some of the events below that you can add to your trip plan:

Medicine Hat Curling Club 

Curling is one of Canada’s beloved sports, and there’s a curling club right here in Medicine Hat. Whether you’re interested in seeing a tournament or trying out the sport for yourself - it’s bound to be an unforgettable experience. The Medicine Hat Curling Club is only open from October to April, so be sure to use your last couple weeks of March to check out what they have in store! From March 14 to 17, the 2019 Optimist Alberta U18 Curling Championships are taking place and from March 22 to 24, the Ladies Bonspiel (complete with costumes!) will be taking place. Medicine Hat Brewing Company

If you’re the age of 18, then this hidden gem is for you. The century-old Medicine Hat Brewing Company is one of the best craft breweries in Western Canada, serving old fashioned lager, ale, stout and delicious food in a friendly atmosphere. In addition to their classic pours, the Brewery is expanding one of their series! The new beer style is available starting March 15, 2019, and makes a stopover a must-have for your trip. Reel Paddling Film Festival

For all the adventure seekers in your group, mark your calendar. The 2019 World Tour of the Paddling Film Festival is making a stopover in Medicine Hat Public Library on March 19. The show begins at 7pm and tickets are $12 in advance or $15 at the door. The Paddling Film Festival presents the world’s best canoeing, kayaking, whitewater films. As spring nears, this event is the perfect opportunity to be inspired to explore the rivers, lakes, and adventure that Alberta has to offer. Tickets can be purchased at the Medicine Hat Public Library, Medicine Hat’s Visitor Information Centre, Valhalla Pure Outfitters or at the door on the night of the event.
